Design the branding for a friendly home-based floral design studio that provides a bespoke and fuss-free service, while breaking the confines of the traditional floral aesthetic to champion a new modern design that appeals to both men and women alike.

Chips Off the Block
Blooms from the Block was established as a way for two daughters to initiate their former florist mother back into floristry. The idea for the name stemmed from the daughters being influenced by their mother when younger, as well as an allusion to the primary form of operation being done at home from an apartment block.
Inspired by their travels and grounding in the fine arts, architecture, and graphic arts, Blooms from the Block wants to pioneer a change in perceptions towards flowers, and to be a breath of fresh air in the saturated floral industry. 
Inspired by modern art, abstractions, the branding for Blooms from the Block includes a vibrant colour palette and a custom logo typemark - a sans serif typeface to convey its neutrality, but with nuanced edges to convey the softness of flowers.
