All at Sea

ACMI Film Screening

The Australian Centre for Moving Image (ACMI) in Melbourne, Australia is the national museum for screen culture and holds exhibits, events and screenings.

The brief was to design a film brochure for a curated collection of nautical films and sea tales at ACMI's film fest.

Inspired by Joan Miro, Henri Matisse and the works of Atelier Bingo, the ACMI film brochure is an experimentation of handmade elements using torn up pieces of paper, scanned textures, colours and collage.

The result was a playful approach to convey the nautical adventures, with the brochure opening up to show a ship sailing through the sea.
